Terms of Delivery

General Information

Kulta-Aika Oy, Business ID: FI06039184, address: Säätökuja 2 B, 01510 Vantaa; sells products to companies and adults in Europe. These terms of delivery apply to ordering products from our online store and to similar deliveries.

These terms of delivery are valid from 20.11.2018 (updated 26.5.2026). We may unilaterally change the terms of delivery from time to time, so please review our terms of delivery each time before ordering products from our online store.

Products and Product Prices

The features and prices of products in the online store are presented in connection with the product description of each product. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs, so please check the prices in the shopping cart before confirming your order. Product prices are shown in the shopping cart and order confirmation. Product prices may vary as raw material prices change. We are an official retailer of all brands we sell.

If the normal price of a product is found to deviate from the recommended retail price due to a clear pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel an order already placed. In such cases, we will refund the amount of any already paid order to your account as soon as possible.

Delivery Costs

Any delivery costs charged for an order may depend on the product itself (e.g., weight, packaging) and the chosen delivery method, and they are automatically added to the total amount of the order. You will see the delivery costs charged for your order (if delivery costs are charged) in your shopping cart before you approve the order.

Ordering and Contract

You can order products on our online store's website by adding them to your shopping cart, confirming the order, and paying for the contents of the shopping cart through the payment service. By ordering from our online store, you are deemed to have read and committed to our current terms of delivery. You understand that your accepted and confirmed order is, except for what is later mentioned regarding the right of cancellation, binding and forms a contract between us with these terms of delivery.

Payment and Payment Methods

You can pay for your order using the payment methods described in the online store and available in the shopping cart. Currently, the online store uses Klarna's and Paytrail's versatile payment options. Klarna offers you diverse, secure, and easy ways to shop online. The Paytrail shopping cart includes the most common online payments, credit cards, invoice and installment services, and MobilePay mobile payment.

Order and Payment Confirmation

After a successful order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email, so please provide your email address when placing an order. The order confirmation will also confirm the payment method used.

It is possible that, especially for the last item of a product, the product may have already been sold, and the product balance has not been updated in the online store to reflect the current situation.

If, for some unexpected reason (for example, a double sale of the last item of a product), we cannot confirm your order, we will notify you by email as soon as possible. In such a case, we will refund the amount of any already paid order to your account as soon as possible. We reserve the right to incorrect stock balances and sold-out products. Discount codes are only valid for regular-priced products. If the price of a product is €0, this is an error that occurred during a system change, and the product is not actually at that price, and we will not accept the order.

Delivery Method and Delivery Time

We will deliver your order using one of the available delivery methods mentioned in our online store, which you choose when placing your order. Our options include Posti parcel services and in-store pickup.

Our most common delivery times for stock products are 1-4 business days, depending on the order and delivery method. More specific product-specific times, if any, are indicated in connection with the product options. The delivery time for engravable products is extended by 3-5 business days.

Pickup orders are typically ready for collection within 1-3 business days of the order. Please note that delivery times for ordered products are estimated and depend on the availability of products from the importer or manufacturer. Delivery times may, on a case-by-case basis, be significantly longer than the estimated delivery times.

If an order contains multiple products, they may have different delivery times. By default, the order will only be delivered when all products are available. If you wish to receive immediately available products from your order sooner, please contact customer service.

Right of Cancellation and Return Policy

If you are a consumer, you have the right, under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, to cancel an order by notifying us no later than 30 days after receiving the goods or the last batch of goods, or, in the case of regular delivery of goods, after receiving the first batch of goods. (Note! Products purchased from the store do not have a right of return; exchange right is 14 days.)

The product must be returnable in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act. The purpose of the law is to give the consumer the right to examine the product as it would be possible in a store. The customer has the right to examine the contents of the packaging and carefully try on the product. However, when returned, the product must be completely scratch-free and in new condition. The seals on the product must be intact and untouched. The product packaging should be opened with general care.

Limitations to the right of return are determined by Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act:
1. Engraved products are not granted a right of return under the law governing customized products.
2. A product is not granted a right of return and/or cancellation if it has been specifically ordered from the factory at the buyer's request.
3. Activated smartwatches that have been taken into use are not granted a right of return.
If the product has been customized according to the customer's wishes, it does not have the right of exchange or return. This also applies to the shortening of a watch strap.

The right of cancellation is valid for products that are in their original packaging, unused, and well-packaged for return shipment. If a returned product has been used contrary to the buyer's statutory duty of care, the company has the right to charge for the depreciation in value up to the full price of the product, including return costs.

The cancellation notification must be made clearly to our email address: verkkokauppa@kulta-aika.com. We do not process returns sent/made without a cancellation notification. Failure to pick up an order does not constitute a cancellation of the order. For an uncollected package for which no separate cancellation notification has been made, we charge a fee of €19.90. This fee covers actual delivery, return, and handling costs.

If the purchase is cancelled, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after making the cancellation notification to our return address mentioned below. The returning party must, if necessary, prove that the goods have been returned within the specified period, for example, with a return receipt. Please note that the returning party must pay the costs incurred from cancelling and returning the order. These costs will not be refunded to the returning party. Cancellation and handling costs are 10 euros per return. If you have chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest available, the costs incurred from this will not be refunded.

Correspondingly, we will refund the payments received from you without delay in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Returning a Discounted Product

If products have been ordered with a discount code or quantity discount granted for orders exceeding X €, and the customer returns some of the products such that the price of the products remaining with the customer falls below the threshold for the discount, the customer will be liable to pay the original retail price of the remaining product, not the discounted price. Free delivery is granted based on the order amount or similar criteria. If the order amount entitling to a discount falls below the qualifying amount after a product return, you are no longer entitled to the discounts.

Unclaimed Package

Failure to pick up is not the same as a return or cancellation. For an unclaimed package for which no separate cancellation notification has been made, we charge a fee of €19.90. This fee covers actual delivery, return, and handling costs.

An order with in-store pickup selected as the delivery method will be automatically cancelled and refunded if the order has not been picked up within 60 days of its delivery.

Shipment Inspection, Errors, and Problem Situations

Please inspect the delivery immediately upon receipt. If the product has been lost or damaged during transport, or it otherwise does not match your order or is defective, notify our customer service without delay and no later than 7 days, and we will arrange how to correct the error. In consumer sales, we follow the mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act regarding defects.

If the package is clearly damaged during transport, you must immediately make a complaint to the transport company of your chosen delivery method.

Limitation of Liability

Kulta-Aika Oy is not responsible for any indirect or direct or other damage related to the order, delivery, or product, or caused by any of the aforementioned, except to the extent that a mandatory provision in the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law provides otherwise for such damage.

Disputes

We aim to resolve any disputes concerning your order primarily by agreement, so please contact our customer service first to settle the matter. If a dispute concerning a sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer can refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the consumer advisory services of the local register offices (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
