Kulta-Aika is a gold and watchmaking shop founded in 1949. We are a Finnish family business. We serve our customers in two stores and an online shop. Our selection includes well-known and high-quality watch and jewelry brands, as well as smaller domestic jewelry and ring manufacturers. We are an official reseller of all the brands we sell, and all products are authentic.

In addition to a wide range of products, we also offer professionally provided watchmaker and goldsmith services, such as watch and jewelry maintenance and repairs, battery replacements, and engravings.

Kulta-Aika stores are located in the Helsinki metropolitan area, in Helsinki and Vantaa, with good transport connections. We are easy to reach!

The online store and Kulta-Aika stores may have different discount campaigns, so online store discount prices may not be valid in stores, and not all store offers are valid in the online store.

We do not purchase scrap gold, old jewelry, or watches.

We process returns as quickly as possible once they have arrived from the shipping company, but no later than one week after receiving the return. Once we have processed the refund, it will take a few business days for the payment service provider to process the refund, depending on the payment method.

The right to exchange and return smartwatches applies to smart devices that are unused and in new condition in all respects. The device must not be switched on and protective films must not be removed from the device. You may try on the smart device, but it must not be switched on and used in order to qualify for the full right of exchange and return.

Yes, you can. You have the right to try on the product carefully and examine it in the same way you would in a store. However, if the product shows signs of use, it no longer has the right of exchange or return. So please try on products carefully!

The right to exchange and return applies to all in-stock products that are unused and in new condition when returned. Products and their accompanying parts, such as boxes, must be in perfect condition.

The right to exchange and return does not apply to products customized according to the customer's wishes (engraving, shortening of a watch strap, etc.), products ordered from the factory at the customer's request and manufactured to order, or smartwatches that have been taken into use and activated.

For returnable and unused products ordered from the online store, we offer an extended 30-day exchange and return policy.

If you experience problems paying for your order, we recommend clearing your browser's cache and trying to place the order again after a moment. You can also try another payment method if you wish.

If the problem persists, please contact our customer service! If necessary, you can also directly contact Klarna's or Paytrail's customer service.

We receive the information required for a refund from the payment intermediary of the order. The payment will always be refunded to the same payment method used for the order. Unpaid invoices / installments will be cancelled.

If the product you ordered is a stock item, its Kulta-Aika offers two types of gift cards; digital gift cards for the online store and physical gift cards for brick-and-mortar stores, which can be purchased in-store.

Physical gift cards cannot be used for online store orders. The online store's digital gift card is delivered directly to your email immediately after purchase. The email message will include the gift card code, which is used by entering the code into the discount code field in the online store's shopping cart.

Yes, you can! You can pay with cash and most common cards in the store.

Yes, you can. By choosing Klarna invoice or installment as your payment method, you will only receive the invoice after the product has been delivered.

Yes, it is. Payments are made on the payment intermediaries' own websites, and we do not process or store your payment information.

In the Kulta-Aika online store, you can choose a payment method that suits you from our many different options, with payment providers being Paytrail and Klarna.

The payment methods offered by Paytrail are MobilePay, ApplePay, online banks, credit cards, as well as invoice and installment. The payment methods offered by Klarna are invoice, installment, online banks, and credit cards.

Orders with in-store pickup selected as the delivery method will be automatically cancelled and refunded if not picked up within 60 days of their delivery.

When you receive a Posti pickup notification, you will be informed of the last day to pick up the package, after which Posti will automatically return the shipment to the sender. For uncollected shipments, we will charge the costs mentioned in our delivery terms.

If you wish for a later delivery time for your order, please mention this when placing the order or contact our customer service, and we will arrange a suitable shipping date for you.

If the product you ordered is a stock item, its delivery time is 1-4 business days. If the product has not arrived within four business days of receiving the delivery confirmation, please contact our customer service. You can also check the progress of your order on the Posti shipment tracking page. You can find your order's tracking number in the delivery confirmation sent to your email.

If the product you ordered was not directly in the online store's stock, you can inquire about the estimated delivery time from customer service.

We offer free shipping on all orders over €50. For orders under €50, a shipping fee of €5.90 will be added. In-store pickup is always free.

From Kulta-Aika's online store, you can order products using Posti and DHL delivery methods, or choose to pick up your order from any Kulta-Aika store. We deliver products internationally using DHL Express service.

We ship e-commerce products from four different warehouses, and due to transfers between warehouses, the product may not be available for dispatch immediately on the order date. However, the delivery time for in-stock products is 1-4 business days.

If the product you ordered was not immediately in stock, the estimated delivery time is 3-25 business days. This timeframe is broad because product availability and delivery times vary significantly depending on the supplier. The order will remain in "processing" status until the product arrives at our warehouse and can be dispatched. You can inquire about the exact delivery time of your order from customer service.

In-stock products are delivered within 1-4 business days from the order date, but most often within 1-2 business days. The delivery time for orders picked up from the store is approximately 1-3 business days.

If the product you ordered is not immediately in stock, or if it is a made-to-order product, you can inquire about a more precise delivery time from the online store's customer service.

Warranty service and repairs will not incur costs for the customer if the defect to be repaired is covered by the warranty. Delivering the product to an authorized service center is also free of charge for the customer.

If the defect in the product is not covered by the warranty or statutory liability for defects, the customer is responsible for the costs associated with the product's repair. The service center may also charge an inspection fee according to its price list and delivery costs for the inspection visit.

The service time depends on the product being serviced, its service needs, and the availability of spare parts. As a general rule, warranty services take approximately 2-3 weeks, including shipping times.

Despite our high-quality products and meticulous procedures, the product you receive may have a defect. Our sincerest apologies! In warranty matters, please contact customer service immediately after noticing the defect. For warranty issues, you can reach our customer service by email at verkkokauppa@kulta-aika.fi.

Once we receive your defect notification, we will instruct you on how to deliver the product for warranty service. You can also deliver the product to the manufacturer's warranty service through your nearest retailer.

All our earrings are always sold in pairs. The price indicated therefore includes two earrings, i.e., a full pair. If a product were to be sold individually as an exception, there would always be a separate and clear mention of it in the product description. The product image also serves as a good guideline: if there are two earrings in the product image, the delivery includes a pair.

Yes, they do. We deliver all products in their original manufacturer's box.

Yes, if you wish, we will shorten the watch strap you ordered free of charge before delivering the watch. Shortening the strap does not extend the order delivery time. You can also have the watch strap shortened free of charge at any Kulta-Aika store by showing your receipt. You can easily select the free strap shortening option from the additional services menu on the product page.

Yes, it is. All battery-operated watches come with a factory-installed battery, so the watch is ready to use immediately.

We provide a one-year warranty for the battery. If the watch battery runs out within one year of the purchase date, we will reimburse you for the battery replacement cost up to eight (8) euros upon presentation of a receipt, or alternatively, you can have the battery replaced free of charge at any Kulta-Aika store.

All products purchased from Kulta-Aika come with a manufacturer's/importer's warranty. For watches, the warranty covers manufacturing defects and movement defects while the warranty period is valid. The warranty period for most watch brands is at least 2 years. For jewelry, the warranty covers manufacturing defects in the product.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear from use or breakages resulting from careless use. The manufacturer makes the decision on whether a defective product is covered by the warranty.

Yes, it is. Kulta-Aika is an authorized retailer for all products and brands for sale. All products we sell are purchased from official importers and/or manufacturers.

We deliver products in their original manufacturer boxes, and many products come with a manufacturer's warranty.
