The Casio G-Shock GMW-B5000D-1CER is a tribute to the brand's history and heritage. This model is a full-metal version of the very first G-Shock (DW-5000C), faithfully reproducing the original dial colors. Red symbolizes passion for challenges, blue excellent water resistance, and yellow superior shock resistance. This watch is manufactured in Japan at Casio's Yamagata factory, where the original G-Shock story began.
The watch's stainless steel case and bracelet have undergone a demanding forging, cutting, and polishing process. Shock resistance in the full metal case has been achieved by installing fine resin damping components between the bezel and the case. The bracelet attachment point features a three-pronged structure that effectively dissipates impact forces. The screw-lock case back ensures a tight construction.
