The new Certina DS Action Diver 40.5mm is a professional-grade diving watch that meets even the most demanding standards. The watch has an official ISO 6425:2018 diving watch certificate and boasts top-class water resistance, up to 300 meters. This model is also a milestone for Certina, as it is the first watch to introduce the next generation DS system: "New DS Concept Extreme Shock Resistance," which guarantees exceptional shock resistance. The watch's 40.5 mm wide case and bracelet are made of highly durable 316L stainless steel. The black dial is framed by a unidirectional rotating steel bezel with a ceramic insert and Super-LumiNova markings. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The bracelet features a convenient quick-release system and a "diver extension," allowing for easy adjustment of the bracelet. At the heart of the watch beats a Swiss POWERMATIC 80.611 automatic movement, which offers an impressive 80-hour power reserve and, thanks to the Nivachron hairspring, enhanced protection against magnetic fields.
