Aarni Fay wooden sunglasses. Made from ebony wood, the design of these glasses is a slightly modernized and lower version of "cat eye" sunglasses. Fay sunglasses are made from dark ebony wood. Ebony has been a prized material for millennia and can be found in everything from piano keys to pharaohs' sarcophagi. The Aarni Carbon Core™ carbon fiber core makes the sunglasses genuinely durable, without compromising on the feel and lightness of wood. A carbon fiber layer is cross-laminated between the wood veneers, making the structure of the sunglasses extremely strong and rigid.

Aarni's Finnish sunglasses use polycarbonate lenses that are among the top in optics, protecting your eyes 100% from harmful UVA and UVB rays. The lenses are lightweight and up to 10 times more resistant to impacts and scratches than traditional plastic or glass lenses.

Wood, the material used to make sunglasses, is a natural material, so the pattern and shade are unique in all products.

All Aarni sunglasses are delivered in the manufacturer's original, convenient foldable case with a microfiber cloth. The soft suede interior of the case gently protects the glasses. When you don't need the sunglass case, you can fold it up, making it easy to fit in your pocket, for example.
