The Aarni Carbon Core™ carbon fiber core makes the sunglasses genuinely durable, without compromising the feel and lightness of wood. The carbon fiber layer is cross-laminated between the wood veneers, making the sunglasses' structure extremely strong and rigid.

Aarni's Finnish sunglasses use top-tier optical polycarbonate lenses, which protect your eyes 100% from harmful UVA and UVB rays. The lenses are lightweight and up to 10 times more resistant to impact and scratches than traditional plastic or glass lenses. Most Aarni sunglass models are also available with polarized lenses. Polarized lenses eliminate reflections from horizontal surfaces, such as water or snow, in addition to normal glare. Polarized lenses effectively prevent reflections, improve contrast, and make it easier to perceive details.
