Lempikoru Vuolu puukko small

A knife with a stylish silver surface from Lempikoru's Vuolu jewelry series. The bolster of the knife is silver. The knife has a carbon steel blade and its handle is made of curly birch. The knife comes with a leather sheath. The total length of the knife is 170 mm, the length of the blade alone is 62 mm. The knife is handmade in Finland. The Vuolu knife is available in both small (this product) and large versions.

Knife care instructions
 
Sharpening: 

• First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone, parallel to the bevel, until a "burr" forms on the blade's edge. 
• Remove the burr with the smoother side of the sharpening stone.
  
• Also use water for grinding.  
• Clean and dry the blade. 
• Sharpen the knife regularly to avoid demanding one-time sharpening.

Sheath care:

• Treat the knife's sheath with a leather care product if necessary.

Knife care:

• Do not wash carbon steel knives in a dishwasher.
• Always dry and clean the blade after use.
• Keep the knife in its sheath and store it in a dry place.
• Treat carbon steel periodically with cooking oil or paraffin oil.
