Helmi is a delicate jewelry series that joined the Lumoava collection in winter 2018. Helmi was designed by Heikki Hartikainen, and its idea originated many years ago. While designing the Kristiina jewelry series, Heikki noticed a heart shape forming in the corner as if by accident, and that heart lingered in his mind and in his desk drawer for years until it ended up on his design table in 2018, and from it, Helmi emerged.
Lumoava jewelry is handcrafted in the world's northernmost jewelry factory in Kuopio. Saurum Oy, the manufacturer of Lumoava products, has a long history in the precious metal industry and is one of Finland's oldest jewelry factories. A strong history and expertise are behind the founding of Lumoava.
