Lempikoru Vuolu knife large 

A knife with a stylish silver surface from Lempikoru's Vuolu jewelry collection. The pommel of the knife is silver. The knife has a carbon steel blade and its handle is made of curly birch. The knife comes with a leather sheath. The total length of the knife is 210 mm, and the blade alone is 95 mm long. The knife is made in Finland as domestic handicraft. The Vuolu knife is available in both large (this product) and small versions.

Knife care instructions
 
Sharpening: 

• First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone, parallel to the bevel, until a "burr" forms on the cutting edge. 
• Remove the burr with the smoother side of the sharpening stone.
  
• Also use water for grinding.  
• Clean and dry the blade. 
• Sharpen the knife regularly to avoid demanding one-time sharpening.

 Sheath care:

• Treat the knife sheath with leather care product if necessary.

Knife care:

• Do not wash the carbon steel knife in a dishwasher.
• Always dry and clean the blade after use.
• Keep the knife in its sheath and store it in a dry place.
• Periodically treat carbon steel with cooking oil or paraffin oil.
