Helmi is a delicate jewelry series that joined Lumoava's collection in winter 2018. Helmi was designed by Heikki Hartikainen, and its idea originated many years ago. While designing the Kristiina jewelry series, Heikki noticed a heart shape accidentally forming in its corner, and that heart haunted his mind and his desk drawer for years, until in 2018 it ended up on his design table and evolved into Helmi.
Lumoava jewelry is handcrafted in the world's northernmost jewelry factory in Kuopio, Finland. Saurum Oy, the manufacturer of Lumoava products, has a long history in the precious metal industry and is one of Finland's oldest jewelry factories. A strong history and expertise are behind the founding of Lumoava.
