The easily readable dial has a large date display (panoramic date display), which shows the date in an enlarged date window with two side-by-side discs. The dial is protected by a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on one side. The watch features a high-quality Swiss Powermatic 80 automatic movement, with a power reserve of up to 80 hours. The movement utilizes Certina's new Nivachron spiral, which prevents magnetization and ensures a more consistent rate in all positions. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters, so it can withstand swimming but not diving.
