The Certina DS-1 Big Date men's wristwatch is a magnificent eye-catcher that immediately draws attention! The watch case is made of highly durable stainless steel, and the strap material is a very stylish black leather. Leather is a very comfortable material to wear. The rounded dial, reminiscent of 1960s watches, is 41 mm wide and features a beautiful gradient effect and a "sunray" finish, which enhance the stylish black tones of the dial and create a sense of depth. The easily readable dial has a large date display (panorama date) which shows the date in an enlarged date window with two adjacent discs. The dial is protected by highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on one side. The watch features a high-quality Swiss Powermatic 80 automatic movement with a power reserve of up to 80 hours. The movement utilizes Certina's new Nivachron spiral, which prevents magnetization and ensures more consistent operation in all positions. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters, so it can withstand swimming but not diving.
