Aarni Frida Ebony Sunglasses

Aarni Frida sunglasses made from dark ebony wood. The angular "cat eye" frames made of ebony give the glasses personality. The glasses have dark grey lenses, which complement the dark ebony perfectly. The inner surface of the sunglasses is made of lighter walnut wood. Ebony has been a revered material for millennia and can be found in everything from piano keys to Pharaohs' sarcophagi. Aarni Carbon Core™ carbon fiber core makes the sunglasses genuinely durable, without compromising the feel and lightness of wood. The carbon fiber layer is cross-laminated between wood veneers, making the sunglasses' structure extremely strong and rigid.

Aarni's Finnish sunglasses use polycarbonate lenses, which are among the top optical materials, protecting your eyes 100% from harmful UVA and UVB rays. The lenses are lightweight and up to 10 times more resistant to impact and scratches than traditional plastic or glass lenses. Most Aarni sunglass models are also available with polarized lenses. In addition to normal glare, polarized lenses remove reflections from horizontal surfaces, such as water or snow. Polarized lenses effectively prevent reflections, improve contrast, and make it easier to perceive details.

Wood, as the manufacturing material for sunglasses, is a natural material, so the pattern and shade are unique in all products.

All Aarni sunglasses are delivered in the manufacturer's original, convenient foldable case with a microfiber cloth. The soft suede inner surface of the case gently protects the glasses. When you don't need the sunglass case, you can fold it flat, making it easy to fit into your pocket.
