All watches in the series feature the latest and improved version of the Japanese Miyota Solar movement. The watch movement draws its power through a black cell located between the glass and the dial. The cell is barely noticeable as it is hidden under the watch bezel. This technological solution allows for an aesthetically stylish watch without battery changes. The new Miyota movement has a power switch that activates by pulling up the crown: it stops energy consumption, and the charge is retained in the battery for up to 48 months. The Solar watch stores energy throughout the day, and with a full charge, it operates in complete darkness for up to 6 months.
