Lumoava designer Salla Räsänen's starting point was to create a piece of jewelry that would worthily and honestly describe the Finnish soulscape and honor independent Finland. She drew inspiration from the historical stages related to Finland's independence, and the 1917 collection is a tribute to our homeland and the heroes who bravely defended it.
Lumoava jewelry is handmade in the world's northernmost jewelry factory in Kuopio. Lumoava products' manufacturer, Saurum Oy, has a long history in the precious metals industry and is one of Finland's oldest jewelry factories. A strong history and expertise are behind the founding of Lumoava.
